Julian Info

Julian is roughly 60 miles north east of San Diego at an elevation of just over 4000 feet.  The weather is often very different up here from the city.  You can check current conditions at the brewery at this link:

There are a huge number of Bed and Breakfasts, Cabins and small Hotels in the greater Julian area.  The best place to find somewhere to stay up here is through the Chamber of Commerce website:

You can click on different types of places to stay including campsites as well as check availability around town.  The Chamber site also lists local restaurants, local events, sites of historical interest, wine tasting and hiking options.  You can also get driving directions and alternate routes up to Julian.

Julian experiences all four seasons so expect moderate fall days with cool nights.  Winter hits in earnest in January and February seems to always bring snow.  By April, Spring is in full bloom and our summer days are long and warm.
